Free Printable American Flag

Get our free printable American flag templates to turn into your own mini paper flags! Kids will love coloring and building these flags.

There are 4 different designs to choose from and they come in 2 sizes.

Supplies Needed

• Coloring supplies – markers, colored pencils or crayons
• Popsicle sticks, wooden dowels or paper straws
• White cardstock
• Tape

How to Make a Paper Flag

1. Print off the free templates and color the design of your choice.

You can get the free templates at the bottom of the post.

2. Tape a straw to the tabs on the flag.

Fold over the tabs and tape down to the backside of the flag. You can use a paper straw, popsicle stick or wooden dowel.

If you do not want to attach it to something, you can cut the tab portion off after you are done coloring.

Now your American flag is complete. Make a bunch to bring to your next 4th of July party or BBQ!

This also makes a really fun 4th of July craft.
