For the base of the houses, we used brown kraft paper lunch bags. If you plan on using these houses mainly for decorative purposes, add some weight inside the bags to keep them upright – a jar, tin can or rock will help keep them in place.

There are 3 different house designs to choose from – but you can also mix and match and create your own by choosing any windows, door or roof!
Kids can also draw their own doors and windows to add to the paper bags.
Use markers, paint, crayons or colored pencils to color in the templates.
2. Glue the designs onto the paper bag.
Cut out the colored paper details and arrange them on a paper bag. Once you’re happy with the layout, use a glue stick to glue them to the paper bag.
Add the lollipops, candy canes, trees or any of the other printable decorations to your bag to complete your house.
Place treats inside your bag or a weighted item like a rock and they will stand up. These make great gifts and Christmas decorations!
