Ingredients Needed to Make Groundhog Pudding Cups

How to Make Groundhog Pudding Cups

  1. Put coconut flakes in a bowl and mix with a few drops of the green food coloring.

2. Open one Nutter Butter cookie and use the inside “butter” to add the facial features on the groundhog.

3.  Spread a little bit of the inside butter on the back of the eyes, nose (brown M&M’s), and teeth (small marshmallow bits). Then simply press on the cookie.

4. To make the ears, take one M&M and cut it in half. Then use some of the inside butter again to place on top of the cookie.

5.  Take your final groundhogs and place them inside the pudding cups.

Top the cups with your “grass” (green coconut flakes).

  1. I made these with my preschoolers and they came out great. I did use black cake icing to hold the eyes and nose on. The kids had fun making them. Thanks

  2. I made these today and they are so adorable! Thanks for the idea. I didn’t have much luck getting the facial features and ears to stick with the peanut butter from the cookie, but some cake icing did the trick for me!

    1. Hi Pam – you can find them in the cake decorating section of a store. Some grocery stores sell them, but Michaels is always a safe bet. Amazon would have them too!

  3. How cute! My girls will love making these. And the cute groundhogs make yummy spoon biscuits for our pudding. Perfect!
