We used paint to color them in, but you can also use crayons, colored pencils, markers, or tempera paint sticks.
Top them off with a cotton ball – which is your dollop of whipped cream! Then add a cute message inside the card.
There are so many cute sayings to go along with these cards!
- “You’re as sweet as pie!”
- “Love, your little pumpkin”
- “You’re the pumpkin to my pie!”
- “You bake me so happy!”

How to Make a Pumpkin Pie Craft
1. Paint the templates.
Paint the pie crusts with beige paint and paint the pie filling orange.
You only need to paint the filling on the top pie, as the bottom one is where your message will go later.
2. Cut out the shapes.
Cut out the shapes and apply a line of glue to the top unpainted edge of the rectangular piece.
Place the fully-painted crust piece on top, lining it up with the edges, and pressing it into the glue to secure.
3. Add the face.
Apply glue to the back of 2 googly eyes and place onto the center of the pie.
Use a black marker to draw on a smile, and dip the end of a paintbrush or pencil into pink paint to make 2 rosy cheeks.
Add a dot of glue above the eyes and press a cotton ball onto it, to make it look like a dollop of whipped cream.
4. Write the message inside.
Use the marker to write a Thanksgiving message inside the card – we wrote “You’re as sweet as pie!” and “Love, your little pumpkin.”
Your card is ready to give away to family and friends this Thanksgiving!
