Cupcake Craft – With Free Template

Supplies Needed
- Large Googly Eyes – these are 25mm size
- Black Marker
- Large Pom Poms – these are 1 inch size
- Glue – a glue stick for the paper and hot glue (with adult assistance) or a glue adhesive dots for the pom poms and googly eyes
- Free Template – get the template sent to you at the bottom of the post

How to Make the Cards
1. Print off the template.
You can get the template emailed to you at the bottom of the post.
2. Cut out the cupcake liner.
Cut out 2 pieces of the same color for the cupcake liner if you plan to turn it into a card.
If you don’t want to make it a card you will only need 1 piece.
3. Glue the second piece on.
Glue the second cupcake liner piece to to the left side only so it will open up like a card.
4. Cut out the cupcake top.
Trace around the template onto a different colored piece of cardstock and glue that piece under the cupcake liner piece.
5. Cut out the sprinkles.
Cut out small pieces of paper strips and glue to the cupcake top to make the sprinkles.
6. Glue on 2 large googly eyes.
7. Draw on a mouth and add the cheeks.
Draw on a mouth with a black marker.
Add the cheeks by dipping the back of a paintbrush or pencil into pink paint. Dab the paint on each side of the mouth.
This simple cupcake craft is so sweet! It’s even easy enough for preschool or kindergarten children to make on their own!
