This is a really easy pumpkin paper plate craft that doesn’t take a lot of effort or preparation to do. If you have a paper plate, glue and construction paper then you can get started right away!

Easy Pumpkin Paper Plate Craft

Below is a super easy pumpkin craft you can do with your kids of any age!

This one is especially good for toddlers and preschoolers who can practice fine motor by tearing the paper and gluing to the paper plate.

To make it easier to glue, you can put some white glue in another paper plate and than have kids use a paintbrush to paint the glue on.

Supplies to Make a Torn Paper Pumpkin

Now here are the supplies you’ll need to make this easy pumpkin paper plate craft:

– Construction Paper – save your scrap paper for torn paper projects like these! This is the perfect craft recycle any loose odds and ends of papers from other projects.

– Scissors

– Paper Plates (we used the smaller size)

– Glue Stick

How to make a Torn Paper Pumpkin Paper Plate

1. First take 1 page of orange construction paper and rip it into different sized pieces.

2. Next, start gluing them to your paper plate.

Don’t worry about filling in every spot covered and the messier the better!  This is really easy for toddlers or preschoolers to do.

3. Cut out a stem from brown construction paper.

4. Draw a vine on green construction paper with a green marker.

You can also twist the green paper around a pencil to make it curly or use pipe cleaner for the vine.

Your pumpkin is now finished!

This is such an easy craft to prep and set up. Kids can easily do this all on their own and you only need construction paper, glue and a paper plate!
